In the past few years, cycling has become increasingly popular. Whether you are a road biker, a mountain biker or a family looking to have fun on the bike paths, an expert or a novice, you will find what you are looking for around the Est\u00e9rel Resort. There are several cycling circuits to choose from. Here are our favourites:
\n– The Raidillons trail<\/a><\/strong>: this is a 28.5 km long trail with a steep, difficult slope that goes around the Masson, Dupuis and North lakes. It passes through the municipalities of Sainte-Marguerite-du-Lac-Masson and Est\u00e9rel.
\n– The Mont Loup-Garou<\/a> <\/strong>Recreation and Tourism Park in Sainte-Ad\u00e8le: about 15 minutes from the resort by car, this park offers 452 km of trails for mountain biking and superb views of the surrounding mountains.
\n– The P\u2019tit Train du Nord<\/a>:<\/strong> originally a railway line, the P\u2019tit Train du Nord is an easy, linear route, perfect for a nice family bike ride. Built between 1891 and 1909 and covering 234 km, it is an important part of the patrimony and development of the Laurentians.<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t forget to pause to catch your breath along the way and admire our magnificent forests, typical of the Laurentian region and home to many of Quebec\u2019s diverse species of flora and fauna.<\/p>\n<\/span>\n \n \n<\/section>\n\n

The small municipality of Est\u00e9rel extends around lakes Masson, du Nord, Dupuis, Grenier and Castor and covers a magnificent territory of 16.20 km bordered by natural environment.
\n\u2013 Parc Est\u00e9rel<\/strong><\/a>: situated within walking distance of the resort and newly developed for outdoor activities, Parc Est\u00e9rel has several hiking trails of differing levels of difficulty for you to discover. There is the \u201cAventurier\u201d for an easier hike, and the \u201cIntr\u00e9pide\u201d for a higher level of difficulty. The 2.1 km Belvedere Trail loop is a beautiful family trail, mostly under forest cover and featuring some clearings and ponds. Climb up to discover the view from the Belvedere!
\n– The Sentier du Galais<\/a>:<\/strong> found in Ste-Marguerite-Du-Lac-Masson, the Sentier du Galais is a walking trail you can start directly from the resort. This four-season multifunctional trail, located on Du Galais Street, offers several trails of different levels of difficulty with interpretation panels, most of them under forest covering.
\n– Parc de la Rivi\u00e8re Doncaster<\/strong><\/a>: located in Sainte-Ad\u00e8le, this park boasts beautiful waterfalls you can admire while walking along the river. The routes are generally considered easy. Bring your fishing rod because you can fish for trout!<\/p>\n<\/span>\n \n \n<\/section>\n\n
